Self-Care
How to Start a Self-Care Action Plan
Take care of yourself
Recognize that it is okay to take care of yourself. Self-care helps to prevent possible burnout, reduces physical and mental stress, and helps you focus on the good and important parts of your life. Self-care makes you more productive and gives you a clearer view of your priorities in life.
Do what works for you
Research on what self-care works for you. There are several ways to take care of yourself such as exercising, eating healthy, sleeping well, taking social media detox, and pampering. Everyone is unique and asks yourself, "What actions make me feel better?"

Feel better
Start collecting things that make you feel better. It doesn't have to be a physical collection. It could be pictures or videos of cute animals, babies, funny jokes, music, etc. Anything that makes you warm and relaxed. These things can help you through a bad day, between work small breaks, and stressful times.
Study yourself
Study yourself and learn in which moments you feel the need to do some self-care.
Your Body is Important
Listen to your body. Most of the time your body gives you signs when you need to take a break, have a nap, or eat something. Not listening to what your body needs can lead to unproductivity and worse -- burnout.
